TriMetrix is the most in-depth insight one can gain into a person from any single assessment. It is the most sophisticated and well developed selection, development and management tool in the world. The TriMetrix is based on three different models, each developed independently by three different scientists at different universities including MIT and Harvard.
The TriMetrix system was developed by Target Training International (TTI). Building on their 25 plus years of research and development in the field of human excellence, TTI have brought together the work of Robert Hartman (Hartman Value Profile), Eduard Spranger (Workplace Motivators) and William Marston (DISC) among others to create this powerful assessment.

The TriMetrix assessment incorporates:
- The DISC model of Human Behaviour
- The Workplace Motivators
- The Personal Talent Skills Inventory (or Hartman Value Profile)
By combining these three instruments, we are able to accurately predict the performance of individuals in different business and life roles. We are able to examine very closely:
- WHAT “Raw Materials” people have at their disposal
- WHY they will move into action and use them; and
- HOW these things will be displayed on the surface.
It is important we understand that these different attributes give us our individuality. They all work together to create our unique strengths and limitations. By increasing our understanding of people’s strengths and limitations, we are able to create environments that promote understanding, commitment, cooperation, and collaboration.
The TriMetrix is a comprehensive system that can be used in many ways to reach your company goals:
Position Benchmarking
Many businesses try to hire carbon copies of their top performers. Just because a person is a top performer in a business does not mean they are the best possible person for the role. The TriMetrix helps us to remove our own bias to what makes a superior performer.
Development
Armed with a clearer understanding of themselves and the impact they can have teams are able to perform more effectively. Through an increased understanding of what each team members talents are and how to effectively communicate to each other, your team will reach new heights.
Managing and Engaging
The TriMetrix will assist managers learn the most effective ways to manage each team member to get the best results. By understanding each person’s talents, managers are able to develop strategies to drive individual performance.

The TriMetrix examines recurring patterns of thought, feeling and behaviour. In total TriMetrix measures 81 factors including 8 Behavioural Traits, 6 Motivators/Values and 67 Personal Skills. Empowered with this information you will be able to make more effective hiring decisions, develop people’s strengths and manage them to maximum performance. There are a number of different TriMetrix reports available, each tailored to specific business functions. Click on a link below to view a sample.
